Welcome to the Virginia High School Mock Trial Competition, presented by the Virginia Law
Related Education Institute, and co-sponsored by the Center for Legal and Court Technology at William and
Mary School of Law. Are you and your team ready for the ultimate competitive law related experience?
The competition is open to teams of six to ten students from public schools, private schools, and the home school community located in Virginia and Washington D.C.
VLRE is committed to providing students with positive educational law-related
experiences. As such, we offer to teachers "Mock Trial as Project Based Learning," a free
one-day workshop that provides teachers with best practices on how to successfully complete this
