Welcome to the Virginia High School Mock Trial Competition, presented by the Virginia Law Related Education Institute, and co-sponsored by the Center for Legal and Court Technology at William and Mary School of Law. Are you and your team ready for the ultimate competitive law related experience?

The competition is open to teams of six to ten students from public schools, private schools, and the home school community located in Virginia and Washington D.C.

For Educators

VLRE is committed to providing students with positive educational law-related experiences. As such, we offer to teachers "Mock Trial as Project Based Learning," a free one-day workshop that provides teachers with best practices on how to successfully complete this project-based learning activity (Professional Learning Credits may be available for this workshop).

For information on this workshop visit the VLRE Catalog and locate Course 102, Mock Trial as Project Based Learning. If a workshop is not scheduled in your area, contact us at info@govlre.com to find out how to host a workshop.
